About Us

Founded in 1982, The Spectrum serves as Acton-Boxborough Regional High School’s official newspaper. We publish six issues annually, all of which are written and produced entirely by the students. Each issue encompasses local and international events, addressing their effect on the AB community.

Here at The Spectrum, we are more than just the school newspaper. We don’t just hunt down facts and write straight hard news stories. We don’t concentrate on a certain viewpoint or set of ideas. Instead, we operate as our name suggests – as a reflection of the totality of Acton-Boxborough’s changing, competitive, and, above all, dynamic community.

Copies of The Spectrum are distributed free of charge.

Letters and forum articles are published as the viewpoints of their respective authors, and do not reflect the official opinion of The Spectrum.
